Seventy-three people were wounded, including women and children, when Yemen’s Houthis struck four southern Saudi cities on Tuesday, 8 September. The Saudi-led coalition put the injured at 73. That is the number on the file. No official death count has been issued.
The coalition named the cities: Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran. Fires broke out at energy facilities. Operations were halted. The energy ministry said teams moved to contain the blazes and assess the damage.
Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said ballistic missiles and drones hit Aramco-linked sites in Abha, Najran and Jazan, and an air base at Khamis Mushait. The desk logs the claim. It does not dress it.
